Im going to put heat tape on my water lines in a mobile home.where does the tape go?on the entire pipe or where?

on the entire pipe wrap the pipe right up with it.

The tape needs to be along the side or wrapped around the pipe. It should also be covered with some insulation to hold the heat in.
