ok for loose fill cellulose the r -value per inch is of thickness is 2.9 to 3.7, for a foam type cellulose the r-value is 4.0 to4.8 , a basic r-value consideration chart for certain country regions is as follows for ceiling insulation,northern us and canada r-38, deep south r-26 , southern california r-19, hope this helps.
