Payne is made by Carrier,go to there website and get a pictoral diagram.Usually there are 2 limits,1 auto and 1 man reset.Try looking on the blower housing, man limits have a red button to reset.

The limit reset switch is usually automatic, turn off all the power to thr unit, if it does not shut down on its own, you can either open the main panel which should have a switch built in and it will shut the unit off, or flip the circiut breaker in your electrical box and leave it off for at least 30-60 seconds. But why did the limit switch go off? Usually it is because the unit is not getting proper ventialtion, be sure all intakes and filters are clean, and the inside is also clean, a shop vac will clean much of what you can reach, if all those are clean and your limit switch still goes off, then there may be a more serious problem, there are usually more than one limit switch on the unit, and call a tech.
