I was just wondering if when u go into the attic if you can blow insulation down into the outside walls. It is an older house and insulation was not a big thing in the day.

The outside walls are hard to get to from the attic since the roof comes down on the walls.
If you can drill holes(no larger than 1″) through the top-plate and blow insulation then try it. Otherwise you will need to do it through the exterior walls.
