Question by Jzman: Can I add reflective attic insulation to the inside of my roof, between the rafters?
I live in central florida. I plan on installing R-30 insulation to the floor of my attic. How effective is it to install reflective insulation to the attic on the roof side? Is it worth the price?

yes it is a great product and well worth the investment. i used insulation from buyfoilinsulation.com
No dont add to the roof. The under side of the roof needs air flow and you will trap moisture, causing mold and rot. Make sure you have plenty of vents under your eaves and take your extra money and buy a solar powered attic fan (or 2 )

do not insulate your roof,it will cause the roof to get VERY hot,this will damage the roofing,shorten its life,,the temp in your attic should be within 3-4 deg of outside temp,,,insulate the floor Only and have plenty of ventilation
